I didn’t know they actually came that well equipped. It’s comparable to an ls400 of the same era!

In the same sort of way and that my granddad’s 2011 DTS platinum is comparable to an E550 of the same era. Yes, it has much of the equipment including quite a bit of luxury features you wouldn’t expect to have, but that doesn’t really make it comparable as a whole.

The original LS400 was purpose-built and was a quality machine. This is a K-car with a bunch of stuff slapped on and in it. THAT BEING SAID, the radio fade knob is the best thing EVER! My mom’s Caravan had it.

The lexus is probably 10 times more refined, and the dash won’t fall a part. But still surprised they even offered these options, especially back in 1990.

It has one thing not featured in the video and the Lexus didn’t have, Ditch lights, they light up the side of the road whe the turn signal is on and are awesome.

Those things are the bomb.com. My ‘93 Deville had them. That old car was an absolute pleasure to cruise around in.
